When this space was birthed, what I envisioned was not only creating a space where everyone could afford the wellness treatments they deserve, but also a safe space to create community. I know how important it is to go through life with support of other human beings on this journey, and I hope that through our shared space you will find that. It is with this intention, that opportunities are given to gifted teachers and healers to share their magic with our community through a variety of different monthly events that provide everyone with unique paths to body, mind and soul wellness.

COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE
with Arthur L "Sonny" Hill
Join us for our once a month Community Acupuncture offered by Arthur L. "Sonny" Hill of Bilongo Healing Arts. Sonny is a graduate of Yosan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist that treats many orthopedic pain and internal conditions, but he specializes in working with emotional trauma and what is deemed diseases of the spirit. Arthur also utilizes energy work or Qi gong and other energetic herbal modalities in his treatment plans. Working and building pathways in the community is important to him.
Sonny will be offering community acupuncture once per month. Though this will be held in community setting, each session will be personalized and customized to your specific needs, situation and body.
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required to attend.

The light is returning. As we come out of Winter and prepare for the new Season, what expression has been quietly stirring in our Hearts? How can we begin to clear the path and move forward with intention for ourselves and our community? This class supports embodiment of your authentic expression as we clear the slate, for the new to emerge.
Movement is Movement Medicine, allowing the playful and fierce Feminine to rise and find freedom in the body. This is a dance-yoga fusion workshop that brings you out of the head and into the body. Tap back into your sovereignty with moody and exciting music, dance, oracle, oils, breath work, and long juicy savasanas. We gather in circle to make new connections with others and ourselves.

(Kids In Need Of Defense)
Join Our Sacred Space Riverside, The Riverside Salsa Collective, and DJ Zac as we come together with community to help raise money for K.I.N.D. (Kids In Need Of Defense), who are dedicated to ensuring that no child appears in immigration court without high quality legal representation. We will be coming together as a community and lifting up Latino music and dance. Joy and movement is resistance. You are invited to join us!
Partner Prenatal Yoga & Birthing workshop
This two hour workshop is open to pregnant people and their support partner (whether that is a romantic partner, friend, or family member). Supinda Sirihekaphong, EdD is an experienced Doula, yoga teacher and massage therapist. She will be providing hands on tools to build your confidence in supporting the labor process. This two hour workshop will help you connect with yourself, your partner and your baby to prepare you for childbirth and parenthood. The workshop will include prenatal yoga to prepare your body for labor, comfort measures & labor positions and guided visualization of your birth. It's also an opportunity for community building and meeting other soon to be parents.
This is a donation based event with a suggested donation of $50-$150 per couple, $25 deposit required to register. Registration is required for this event.
Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony And Sound Bath
Spring Equinox Sound Bath and Cacao Ceremony with Amanda (Cozcacuauhtli Cihuati, Necklaced Eagle Woman, Curanderismo Practitioner, Cultural practitioner, Ceremonial Hairstylist and Creator of Keep Your Crown Right) and Sasha (Trauma informed massage therapist, somatic movement and yoga teacher, great grand daughter of the Kaqchikel lineage of Guatemala, and owner of Our Sacred Space Riverside).
The past 7 1/2 years Amanda has been dedicated to holding space for BIPOC folks within the community, merging together healing modalities such as the power of touch, prayer & plant medicine alongside her love of hair and its energetic & spiritual properties. Sasha has been practicing helping people heal through their body with trauma informed therapeutic massage, yoga, somatic movement, reiki, and energy work since 2015.
She is the great grand daughter of Juanita, the last of her family lineage to hold strong to her Mayan Kaqchikel culture.
Sasha has been on a journey of reconnecting to her roots and family lineage.
Bring your family and friends to experience this organic sound bath meditation and cacao ceremony with cacao brought to you directly from Guatemala. You'll be submerged in a soundscape of healing vibrations transmitted through crystal quartz singing bowls, percussions, and more ancestral instruments, all played with the intention to heal and clear one's mind, body, and soul. Cacao is a heart opening sacred mayan beverage that helps reduce stress, is rich in antioxidants, improves mood, supports gut health, is anti-inflammatory, and enhances creativity and your connection to your intuition.
Recommended to wear comfy clothing. Bring blankets and pillows.

Community Spring Fling
Join us for a community spring fling. Your ticket to this event includes all of the materials for our creative workshops, acai bowls, and pressed juice.
Spring is when earth begins to bloom again. What would like you to bloom in your personal life? We will be creating vision boards to help you see what you would like to bring to life.
We will also be creating framed pressed flower art made from flowers purchased from our local street vendors. Please bring a photo of yourself as a child if you would like to incorporate inner child magic in this creative workshop.

Ecstatic Dance

There's no right or wrong way to move here, just an invitation to listen and follow what feels good to use. The music follows a wave form, starting slow, moving to a peak, and descending into stillness. No dance experience or partner is necessary or needed. Come as you are. Move how you need. This space is here to support connection, expression and embodied choice.
